چکیده

Ascochyta blight is one of the most common diseases that threaten pea and cause severe crop losses. The research concerned with integrated control this disease by studying effect biological agents inorganic salts, planting dates distances, especially in light climate change impact these factors on spread disease. In study, two bacterial strains Bacillus megaterium Pseudomonas fluorescens as biocontrol agents; potassium carbonate sodium were evaluated dates, where first date was at beginning October, second November. Also distance between irrigation lines (0.75 1.5 meter) successive seasons 2020/2021 2021/2022 under conditions Dakhla Oasis, New Valley Governorate. best results a meters, which led to significant reduction severity, increase traits associated vegetative growth. Also, treatment an growth plant height compared megaterium. By interaction agents, it decrease incidence there no while had severity infection. Bacterial isolates used study mineral salts contributed increasing rates reducing ascochyta infection rates. Further studies can be conducted include treatments within programs for pea.

Integrated control of garlic leaf blight caused by Stemphylium solani in China Garlic leaf blight control

Leaf blight caused by Stemphylium solani is a major fungal disease of garlic (Allium sativum) in central China where it has caused severe crop losses during the winter growing season from the end of autumn to the middle of spring. Epidemiology, cultivar resistance, and chemical controls were investigated during the 2006 to 2008 growing seasons in Dangyang County to improve disease control metho...

Biological Control Agents for Fire Blight of Apple Compared Under Conditions Limiting Natural Dispersal

Fire blight, which is a major constraint to pome fruit production in many areas of the world, is most commonly initiated by epiphytic populations of Erwinia amylovora that develop on blossoms (1,26). Under relatively dry climatic conditions, bacteria colonize flower stigmas, and subsequent rain or heavy dew facilitates movement to the floral cup (hypanthium), where infection generally occurs (2...

Studies on the Control of Ascochyta Blight in Field Peas (Pisum sativum L.) Caused by Ascochyta pinodes in Zhejiang Province, China

Ascochyta blight, an infection caused by a complex of Ascochyta pinodes, Ascochyta pinodella, Ascochyta pisi, and/or Phoma koolunga, is a destructive disease in many field peas (Pisum sativum L.)-growing regions, and it causes significant losses in grain yield. To understand the composition of fungi associated with this disease in Zhejiang Province, China, a total of 65 single-pycnidiospore fun...

Assessment of Selected Pea Genotypes Reaction to Ascochyta Blight under Field Conditions and the Impact of Disease Severity on Yield Components

The response of pea (Pisum sativum) genotypes to ascochyta blight disease and the effect of disease severity on yield components were evaluated in a 4-year trial under field conditions. Peas were inoculated with Ascochyta pinodes, the anamorph of Mycosphaerella pinodes, or with Phoma pinodella separately and with a mixture of both species. Mean infection ratings of all inoculation treatments we...
